Your first Poke Bowl recipe with homemade anchovy-flavoured olives.

Many of us don't know how to make the most of table olives when we buy them, so we wanted to adapt it to one of the most fashionable recipes on an international level. The "Poke Bowl is the new culinary concept of Hawaiian origin that allows you to combine different healthy ingredients.

It is a light and healthy disheasily customisable with a wide variety of ingredients. Simple to prepare and relatively inexpensive.

If you like sushi, ceviche, nigiris,... poke (meaning "to cut into pieces") you will love it. Because it is made up of a rice or quinoa base (this format is always used to eat it), raw fish marinated with a mixture of soy sauce, sesame oil and a combination of other ingredients that you can adapt according to your taste.

 

 

How is the Poke Bowl made?

First of all, to prepare a Poke Bowl you need a bowl in which to incorporate all the ingredients.

 

 

Ingredients

  • 200 grams of rice.
  • 200 grams of salmon.
  • 1 ripe avocado.
  • 1 handle.
  • Soya bean sprouts.
  • 1 cucumber.
  • Escamilla homemade anchovy-flavoured olives.
  • Sesame seeds.
  • Soy sauce, juice of one lemon and sesame oil.

 

 

Elaboration

Firstly, cook the rice in boiling salted water, leave to cool and set aside. Next, cut the salmon into small cubes. Then with a shot glass add the soy sauce and sesame oil in equal proportions, together with the juice of one lemon, and marinate the salmon cubes.

Next, cut up the avocado, mango and cucumber and add the bean sprouts and the homemade anchovy-flavoured olives.

Secondly, place the rice base in a bowl and add the rest of the ingredients.

To conclude Sprinkle with the sesame seeds and dress with the salmon marinade.

With this recipe we obtain another way of incorporating our bought olives. A fun and original way in which We can take it with us to our workplace as a taper.
