Although other percentages cover around the world, the Sevillian olive is one of the most coveted and exported olives in the world, exceeding almost 30%. Its demand is high in both non-producing and table olive producing countries.

According to the MAP Food Consumption Panel, in 2017 national household consumption increased by 6.7%. For hotel and catering, there is no data available since 2011. Household consumption accounts for around 75% of national table olive consumption.
